Artwork #2 for Kirk in the Hill's Stations of the Cross
Lenten art 2020 Exhibition

This art for Station 14 was inspired by the sculpture "Jesus Christ Down From the Cross and the Virgin Mary." I am using the desert as a backdrop once again, inspired by the skies of the American southwest. Originally, this was to be a more abstract design, but the poetry of having two figures emerging from the rain clouds was hard to resist.
