The Center for Disease Control has recommended the use of cloth face masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19.
This face mask is made from 100% polyester and includes two ear loops with adjustable grommets for a comfortable fit.
The printed area of the mask is approximately 7" wide by 5" tall. This mask fits well on adult mens' faces without the grommets but, due to the adjustable grommets, can be worn snuggly by adult women, as well.
Please note - this is NOT a surgical grade mask. It is not intended for any medical or commercial uses, whatsoever. It is a simple, cloth mask designed for everyday use to cover your mouth when out in public. The mask should not be used in any medical or surgical setting.

A tonalist work this painting explores a very different color palette of deep blue and red acrylic. Painted on 16" x 20" wood panel, the view was inspired by a telephoto shot I took at Point Betsie Lighthouse a few years ago. The Lombardy poplars framed the sun as it settled close to the horizon over Lake Michigan.

I am an illustrator, a storyteller, and a fine artist. I am happiest when I can be all three at once. I think illustration is a spectrum of storytelling genres and I like to think that each of works of art are little pieces of my own ongoing story. When I ask myself what is illustration today I feel like it is the big question that covers so many ways to create images. Illustration is and always will be about storytelling whether, it overlaps into what most would call fine art or fan art, or it takes the form of graphic novels or editorial work.
