The Center for Disease Control has recommended the use of cloth face masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19.
This face mask is made from 100% polyester and includes two ear loops with adjustable grommets for a comfortable fit.
The printed area of the mask is approximately 7" wide by 5" tall. This mask fits well on adult mens' faces without the grommets but, due to the adjustable grommets, can be worn snuggly by adult women, as well.
Please note - this is NOT a surgical grade mask. It is not intended for any medical or commercial uses, whatsoever. It is a simple, cloth mask designed for everyday use to cover your mouth when out in public. The mask should not be used in any medical or surgical setting.

"Night Watch at Big Sable Lighthouse"
"18 x 24" acrylic painting on wood panel. This painting was the last in my series of 4 lighthouses this spring. Not sure I am happy with this one and stopped painting for a few weeks afterward. This night scene was created from a midday scene I shot of the Big Sable Lighthouse north of Ludington on our trip around Memorial Day. The driftwood reminded me of some beached creature like a small whale and even had an eye that you can see if you look at it long enough.

I am an illustrator, a storyteller, and a fine artist. I am happiest when I can be all three at once. I think illustration is a spectrum of storytelling genres and I like to think that each of works of art are little pieces of my own ongoing story. When I ask myself what is illustration today I feel like it is the big question that covers so many ways to create images. Illustration is and always will be about storytelling whether, it overlaps into what most would call fine art or fan art, or it takes the form of graphic novels or editorial work.
