The Center for Disease Control has recommended the use of cloth face masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19.
This face mask is made from 100% polyester and includes two ear loops with adjustable grommets for a comfortable fit.
The printed area of the mask is approximately 7" wide by 5" tall. This mask fits well on adult mens' faces without the grommets but, due to the adjustable grommets, can be worn snuggly by adult women, as well.
Please note - this is NOT a surgical grade mask. It is not intended for any medical or commercial uses, whatsoever. It is a simple, cloth mask designed for everyday use to cover your mouth when out in public. The mask should not be used in any medical or surgical setting.
We make no warranties that the mask prevents infections or the transmission of viruses or diseases.

"Relic"
Relic is a 24" x 18" acrylic painting of the dune scape beyond the beach at Ludington State Park. No sugar coating of the subject in this painting. I have to say that this one was a struggle. I tend to choose the stark and spare landscapes. Happy landscapes are not my thing as a traditional painter, and all the paintings I found of sand and dune scapes were too unsatisfyingly poetic and charming. As you can see I only show a small hint of the lake.
I am an illustrator, a storyteller, and a fine artist. I am happiest when I can be all three at once. I think illustration is a spectrum of storytelling genres and I like to think that each of works of art are little pieces of my own ongoing story. When I ask myself what is illustration today I feel like it is the big question that covers so many ways to create images. Illustration is and always will be about storytelling whether, it overlaps into what most would call fine art or fan art, or it takes the form of graphic novels or editorial work.

Beautiful colors and I love the starkness of the dead tree and its shadow as well as its isolation on the dune. This is one of my picks of the day for December 28 in the Best of Minimalism group. Features there depend on the participation of fellow group members in the current Pick of the Day discussion thread; it requires three picks to get a group feature.

The footprints and small addition of lake are great additions. I like the non-traditional landscape approach. My minimalism group POD for 12/27/22.
