1964 MERCURY Comet Cyclone
This painting came together in a vintage 1960s car ad style. Just sort of happened with that mint blue paint color. I actually photographed the car at the Eyes on Design Car show back in 2015. The glowing sun created some atmospheric back lighting, so I figured why not paint it in a field of poppies.

If you like my Art...

I am an illustrator, a storyteller, and a fine artist. I am happiest when I can be all three at once. I think illustration is a spectrum of storytelling genres and I like to think that each of works of art are little pieces of my own ongoing story. When I ask myself what is illustration today I feel like it is the big question that covers so many ways to create images. Illustration is and always will be about storytelling whether, it overlaps into what most would call fine art or fan art, or it takes the form of graphic novels or editorial work.
